ParaCo South Africa was formed in October 2019 shortly after the closing of Parachute Systems.
Our head office and factory is based in Durban. However, we ship our products to skydivers, sports enthusiasts and paramedics all over the globe.
Parachute Company South Africa (ParaCo) was formed shortly after the closing of Parachute Systems. Christopher Dales, the owner of Parachute Systems gave ParaCo permission to manufacture and do repairs on the sports main canopies previously produced by Parachute Systems as well as specific spare parts for the Vortex of which Dales is the TSO holder.
Our mission is to provide safe, trusted and durable products to our clients in order for them to enjoy the experience of taking flight.
We pride ourselves on having trusted and experienced staff on our team. Our staff have followed us from Parachute Systems and have years of experience in the industry. They provide our customers with high-quality products that are reliable and durable. Our team is made up of Irene, Tryphina and Shannon. Each member provides a different aspect of expertise to create a well-rounded and knowledgeable set of staff.
Irene is our factory supervisor and part-owner. She is an all-rounder with over 40 years of experience in the industry.
Shannon's expertise are centered around our line sets and cutting.
Tryphina's expertise is as a machinist for ParaCo South Africa.
